Pate de Vere Workshop

This class teaches you the entire process of making a pate de verre glass bowl. You start by creating the wax form which can be carved and textured with you own design. You will learn how to create a mold of your finished wax. After lunch we do the glass technique of pate de verre. The bowl will be fired in a kiln over three days. Once the glass bowl is out of the kiln Deanna Clayton will electroplate copper onto the edge to finish the piece. Your bowl will be ready for pick up after about a week or it can be shipped to you for a $15 fee(for most destinations)
